Andorra Taste Award 2026
Now in its fifth year, the Andorra Taste Award will be presented to Virgilio Martínez, a chef who draws inspiration from Peru’s landscape and traditional cuisine.
A key figure in contemporary Peruvian gastronomy, he has transformed the country's biodiversity and ancestral knowledge into avant-garde cuisine that showcases Peru's cultural identity to the world.
Previous recipients of the Andorra Taste Award include leading figures in Catalan and global cuisine, such as Ferran Adrià and Carme Ruscalleda. The award has also been given to two internationally renowned chefs: Michel Bras, a true pioneer of plant-based cuisine who was ahead of his time, and Gastón Acurio, who has revitalised and introduced traditional Peruvian cuisine to the world.
