He began his professional career in 1978 with the "Informaciones" daily, he was involved with the foundation of the travel magazine "Viajar", and was a hotel critic for El País.
He is also the founder and promoter of the Hoteles con Encanto brand and Notodohoteles.com, a pioneer website issuing hotel recommendations. He is a frequent speaker at congresses, conventions and seminars on hotels and tourism in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. In a professional career spanning 39 years, he has visited more than 26,000 hotels all over the world.
He has taught on master's courses and given tourism innovation seminars. His passion for travel, hotel audits and influencing has led him to visit more than 26,000 tourist accommodation outlets in 39 years of professional activity in 103 countries.
