Jordi defines himself as a foodstuff artisan who creates traditional cured meats from Andorra and the Pyrenees.
A foodstuff artisan and cured meat and bacon specialist since 1990, he has always had links to artisan production by following the family tradition and the recipes handed down by parents to their children.
Jordi still works with bull (a kind of Catalan "butifarra") at an altitude of 1,700 metres - just like his grandfather did - to guarantee a unique natural taste, at Ransol, in the Canillo district of Andorra.
Cal Jordi works with pepper and salt only, with no preservatives or colourants, and it produces traditional cured meats such as "bull", "donja", "bringuera" and white or black "butifarra".
